Love Knows No Boundaries
Rev. Dr. Judy DeRosa
About This Session
Love Knows No Boundaries is an interactive remembrance installation created by Rev. Dr. Judy DeRosa in honor of the people and beloved animals who have touched our lives and are no longer physically with us. At the heart of the installation is a mirror, representing reflection and the illusion through which we move in this life. Guests are invited to pause, remember someone they love, and write them a message. Write to a mother, father, sister, brother, child, friend, partner, dog, cat, or any beloved soul you carry in your heart. Roll your message, tie it to the installation, and leave it as an offering of remembrance. Following the Day of the Dead, the collected messages will be lovingly released through fire in a Ceremony of Remembrance. This experience is both a tribute to those we have lost and a reminder to those of us who remain: live fully, love deeply, cherish good friends, make peace where you can, and leave kindness wherever you go.
Things to Know
This is a quiet, self-guided interactive experience. Guests may participate at any time during festival hours. Paper and materials for writing messages will be available at the installation. Messages will later be included in a Ceremony of Remembrance following Day of the Dead.
