Our Story
The idea for the Yosemite Goddess Festival began as a seed — a quiet calling to create a space where people could gather, connect, and explore the divine feminine in all its forms. It was the middle of a time when the world felt divided, when conversations often turned to what set us apart instead of what brought us together.
We envisioned something small at first — just a few hundred kindred spirits coming together to talk about community, unity, and the shared values that could guide us into a kinder future. A place where we could gather in circle, share our stories, and honor the many ways the divine speaks through us.
As the planning unfolded, something remarkable happened: the energy began to grow. Word spread, hearts opened, and the vision expanded. Our small gathering of a few hundred became 500, then 1,000… and by the time the festival gates opened, more than 1,800 people walked through, ready to be together.
Over the course of the weekend, the air was alive with music, the steady beat of drum circles, and the hum of deep conversations. We moved together in yoga, danced under the open sky, sat in ceremony, exchanged teachings, created art, and joined in rituals that reminded us we are all part of something larger.
In those moments, we realized we had tapped into something powerful — a shared hunger for an authentic, inclusive space where ideas could be explored, gifts could be exchanged, and creativity could flourish.
The Yosemite Goddess Festival was no longer just an event — it had become a movement. A gathering that honored progressive ideas rooted in ancient arts, welcomed diverse spiritual and cultural traditions, and created a community where everyone could both learn and share.
From that first magical gathering, the vision began to grow beyond Yosemite, carrying the same heartbeat of unity and celebration into new places — including Sacramento, the City of Trees — where the same magic took root again.
