Sacred Mountain Drumming
Lisa Bennett
About This Session
Sacred Mountain Drumming is an experiential Reiki-guided ceremony led by Lisa Bennett of Live Life Reiki Studio, inviting participants to slow down, connect with the land, and listen for the wisdom carried through rhythm, nature, and intention.
The gathering begins in mindful presence with guided meditation and Reiki awareness before moving into sacred drumming. Together, we will connect with nature, call in our Ancestors, and journey with intention through the heartbeat of the drum.
As the circle unfolds, participants will also move outdoors to share the sacred sound of Animal Medicine with the festival and the surrounding mountain landscape. The experience is designed to create space for grounding, reflection, energetic connection, and community.
No previous drumming or Reiki experience is necessary. Whether this is your first drum circle, you are an experienced drummer, or you are returning to a familiar practice, you are welcome to enter the circle exactly as you are.
Things to Know
Bring whatever you need to be comfortable sitting or lying on the ground. Suggested items include a yoga mat, blanket, pillow, cushion or portable chair, hat, and sunscreen. If you have a wood-frame drum or rattle, you are encouraged to bring it. Part of the ceremony will move outdoors as the circle shares the sacred sound of Animal Medicine with the festival, so please plan for the weather and outdoor conditions. This circle welcomes everyone—from those experiencing sacred drumming for the first time to avid drummers and those returning to their practice.
