Your Voice Is Medicine: Goddess Energy, Health, and Wholeness

Helen Folsom, MA

About This Session

Discover how your own voice can become one of your most accessible tools for healing, resilience, and joy. Through gentle humming, playful vocal exploration, and intuitive singing, you’ll experience how self-created sound can calm the nervous system, quiet mental chatter, and awaken a deeper sense of presence and vitality.

Modern research is revealing what many ancient traditions have long understood: when we hum or sing, remarkable things begin to happen throughout the body. Breath naturally slows and deepens. The vagus nerve is gently stimulated. Stress hormones begin to soften as vocalization helps activate the body’s own healing chemistry, encouraging the release of beneficial neurochemicals associated with relaxation, bonding, and joy. Even our cells respond to vibration in ways that scientists are only beginning to explore.

This is not about performing or singing beautifully. It is about rediscovering the healing instrument you have carried within you since your first breath. Anyone can hum. Anyone can participate. No musical experience is required.

Come prepared to make joyful sounds, laugh, breathe, and leave with simple practices you can use anytime you want to create a little more calm, connection, and wholeness from the inside out.
